Accord Home Care, Inc. was founded in 1996 by Libby Jones-Werchan. Libby has over 30 years experience in the home care industry. She feels providing home care service is more than a career, it is her calling. Libby founded Accord Home Care on the simple principle that each and every patient deserves compassion and exceptional quality of care.

Libby was raised in the Austin area which gives her a unique perspective on the growing needs of the area. Being locally owned and operated offers many advantages that are not generally found in large multi-state companies. We do not have layers of management or Corporate “hoops” to jump through to make decisions.

Libby is in the office everyday and has a personal commitment to every aspect of the agency’s operations; from patient care, to policy, procedure, and regulatory changes, to the hiring of outstanding staff, and always advocating for the patients and families served by the company.

Accord Home Care employs only the most dedicated, knowledgeable and compassionate staff and assures each staff member is trained in the latest techniques available to meet the individual needs of each patient. The dedicated and patient-centered administrative and office staff is also a big part of the success of the company.

Another area that sets Accord Home Care apart is the philosophy that compassionate and quality patient care is more important than the profit and loss statement. We believe that if you do the right thing for the right reason you will always get the right results.

Accord Home Care is a licensed and certified agency and meets the standards and condition required to provide and bill Medicare services.
